192   ROMAN GOLD AND GLASS NECKLACE
        II-III century A.D.
Composed of nine gold pendants with double-ribbed suspension loop decorated with twisted wire, blue glass cabochons set in collar with pinched edge; fourteen  hollow, ribbed gold beads, soldered from two halves and terminated by strip-twisted wire collars; sixty-six  spherical and globular blue glass beads. 
L. 14" (35.6 cm).

627   ROMAN GOLD AND GLASS NECKLACE
         II-III century A.D.
Composed of six gold crescent pendants with twisted wire perimeter and double-ribbed suspension loop,  triangular clusters of granulation, single granules at termination points; twenty- five 14-faceted green glass beads; thirty-four spherical and semi-spherical small green glass beads and later gold beads, soldered from two halves and terminated with wire collars;  L. 15" (38.1 cm).

N1   ROMAN GOLD AND GLASS NECKLACE
        II-III century A.D.
Consists of hollow, gold ribbed tubes spaced by groups of three blue glass beads; two semicircular gold pendants with incised  lines and a suspension loop with single granulation at the top; central pendant with incised lines and granulation on the back, beaded wire perimeter and green glass cabochon set in collar with incised  lines and pinched edge.  Suspension loop decorated by granulations on top.  L. 15.2" (38.6 cm).

Composed of eleven scaraboid shaped rock crystal beads, twelve biconical rock crystal beads. Interspersed with twenty-four biconvex carnelian beads. L. 18 1/4" (46.4 cm).

Composed of globular carnelian beads and seventeen conical pendants with round bottoms and tops. Wide range of light orange to red-brown with different degree of transparency. Pendants and beads have conical opening, some are drilled from both ends. Some globular beads have a shallow slit across the opening at one or both ends to prevent drilling device from slipping.

172   ROMAN SILVER TORQUE
         WITH TWO ROMAN DENARII PENDANTS         
        
late I–III c. A.D.
Made of spirally twisted wire with rectangular cross section. One end hammered into a plate forming a round hoop with a round hole. The 
other end is a hook with a knob at the end. Double bent silver strip riveted  to each: Denarii of Septimius Severus and Geta as Caesar.
5.5” x 5.7”(14 x 14.5 cm).
