GREEK BONE

           III-II centuries B.C.
Fully carved figure. Stands with the weight on the left leg, outstretched arms bent at elbows, holding attributes. Chiton with straight vertical folds, himation leaves right arm free, falling across left arm, covering shoulder and over the back. Detailed facial features. High polos; hair indicated by parallel lines, reaching middle of the back. Traces of gilding remain. There is a round opening at the base and a slit across.
